Private Coaching

One person, one plan

By introduction from your advisor, or on your own.

Most people arrive here because an advisor introduced them. Some find the work on their own, through an essay, a talk, or a friend who went through it. Either way, something is shifting.

A sale. A retirement date. A health scare. A calendar that suddenly has room in it, or one that never does. This is for everything the financial plan doesn’t cover.

I’m Adam Bruderly. I spent fifteen years at Vanguard working with wealth management firms, I’m a Board Certified Coach, and I train and race endurance events, including Ironman and ultramarathons. The coaching runs across the Four Pillars: Physical, Mental, Financial, and Spiritual.

How it works

  • The 9:03 Clock
Completed before we meet: an honest read of where your 168 hours actually go across the Four Pillars.
  • A “Why” Session
We name what you are working toward, and the 9:03 moment or number that brought you here.
  • A Personal Path
Your plan across the Four Pillars, walked in the six stages of the 9:03 Path. Not more goals. A clearer allocation.
  • Sessions Weekly or Biweekly
In person, virtual, or on foot. Some of the best sessions happen on a trail or a run.
  • Spot Coaching Between Sessions
Direct access when a decision or a moment needs it.
  • Tools, Exercises, and Accountability
Guided exercises each month, a weekly audit, the 9:03 Clock each quarter, and someone who notices when you drift.
  • Introductions to Collective Partners
A specialist from the Collective when the work calls for one.

This work isn’t about doing more. It’s about spending it differently.

What you walk away with

  • A Deeper Read of Your Baseline
Where you actually are, not where you think you are, and how you are spending your most valuable currency.
  • The Four Pillars and 12 Holdings
A working understanding of the map: Physical, Mental, Financial, and Spiritual, and the twelve places your time goes.
  • Your Story on Paper
What this life is for, written down in your own words.
  • Time as Your Most Valuable Currency
Not as an idea. As the way you decide, plan your week, and say no.
  • The Work Along the Path
Tools, resources, and an accountability partnership, for as long as the path takes.

What your advisor hears

Only what you agree to share. Your advisor may need to know when something changes the plan, like a new retirement date, a move, or a decision to give. Everything else stays between us. We put those terms in writing in the first session.

If you came on your own, no advisor is involved unless you want one. If it would help to coordinate with yours, we can.

Where we meet

In person in Northeast Ohio, on a trail or a run when it helps, and virtually anywhere.

Coming on your own

A few places are held for people who come directly. The first conversation is the same: thirty minutes to see whether now is the right time and whether this is the right work.
