Dr. Jimmy Moley was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and began his educational journey with an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. He went on to complete medical school and adult psychiatry residency at The Ohio State University in addition to a certification in sports psychiatry through the International Society for Sports Psychiatry.
Throughout medical education and training Dr. Moley developed a passion for working with athletic, high-performing individuals. His approach is to not only treat mental illness, but to work with athletes and executives to optimize mental wellness in a way that elevates performance and optimizes production. Realizing that the current healthcare structure was not conducive to patient-focused, elevated care, he made the decision to start a concierge-level private practice dedicated to holistic mental health care. Returning to serve his home community was the fulfillment of a vision built on integrity, respect, and the highest level of professional care.
Dr. Moley specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness with particular interests in athletic performance and the integration of somatic and psychiatric healthcare. He is an award-winning and published author whose work has been presented at international scientific conferences and featured in multimedia productions. He artfully combines the latest evidence-based medical principles with a nuanced understanding of the psychological factors that impact health outcomes. When not in the office, Dr. Moley enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying the local food scene and staying physically active.
